A Woman Found Her Worthless Ring Worth Half a Million

There is a story of a woman living in west London. This woman purchased a ring from the flea market for 13 pounds/10 dollars. This woman found this ring almost worthless. Later she had an incident which made her think that this ring is worth some money. She took it to Sotheby's London. The Sotheby's immediately recognized it to be an original ring but they decided it sends to the Gemological Institute of America. GIA tested it in the lab and found out that the diamond in this ring is original. They proposed that its price would be more than $400,000. The woman was happy with this and was willing to sell it. The Sotheby's decided to auction this ring but the ring was sold at a price more than double the price of what GIA had proposed.
This woman thought that her ring was worthless but after the testing of GIA, she was informed that her ring is actually not worthless and is worth half a million dollars.
