Chicago Bears Rumors are heating up as NFL Free Agency approaches on March 18th. Taylor Gabriel is a candidate to get cut as the Bears can save $4.5 million by doing so. Taylor Gabriel signed a 4-year, $26 million contract with Chicago before the 2018 season. He had a very solid season that year with almost 700 yards and 2 touchdowns. In 2019 however, he dealt with injuries and only played in 9 games. The Bears can cut Gabriel with only a $2 million dead cap hit. With the 2020 NFL Draft being loaded with WR talent, it’s hard to envision Chicago keeping Gabriel at his current price.
