Dr. Jan Polson, DAOM, LAc, is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners to treat patients with acupuncture and herbal medicine and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Polson is also a state board licensed Medical Herbalist with extensive education and practice in the art of medical herbology. After some years in practice, Dr. Jan returned to complete a clinical doctoral degree in Integrative Medicine, Women’s Health and Advanced Acupuncture Techniques. This is the highest credential in acupuncture and Eastern medicine in the U.S. Dr. Polson has over 35 years of experience working in both western and eastern healthcare settings. She excels in the art of medical intuition and targets the cause of disease that others cannot find. Gentleness, compassion and innovation have been her longstanding strengths.
