Avinashi KSRTC Bus Tragedy: Clamour To Inspect Container's Weight| Mathrubhumi News

Kochi: There is a rising demand to inspect the weight of the container of the trailer truck which collided with a KSRTC Volvo bus in Avinashi last week and killed 19 people. Earlier, certain trade unions lodged a complain with the Labour Commissioner which said truck owners including the owner of the truck involved in the crash deliberately load goods more than the permitted weight limit. However, there was no action in response to their complaint, the trade unions said.
