Kubota B2601 compact tractor. Land Pride FSP500 broadcast spreader. Sometimes the simplest ideas can make all the difference.
The last piece of the puzzle has finally fallen into place. Using the Kubota B2601 compact tractor, the B2782 front mount snowblower and Landpride FSP500 broadcast spreader, running at the same time, off the rear and mid PTO, to clear snow from the driveway and to spread sand or salt on the hills while snowblowing the snow, at a reasonably fast driving speed, is the solution I was looking for. A simple mod to the spreader from a subscriber, makes it all come together. Just in time for the final stretch of winter as we start to see more and more ice in the driveway, through the swinging temperature changes we experience at this time of the year. Perfect solution for me here on my long 1.3 km driveway. Come along with me as I test out the solution here at the cottage, in the outdoors. Cheers!
