Principles over premiership, Anwar reveals difficult choice

In the aftermath of Pakatan Harapan's downfall, PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said those who left the party have betrayed their struggle, including to reject corruption and abuse of power.

In a video message to remaining party members, Anwar reminded that PKR had taken a difficult stand which is consistent with its principle.

"We were given the opportunity to collude with the old groups who had destroyed our country.

"We chose to stick with our principle. Those who left us have betrayed our struggle," said the Port Dickson MP.
