Todays topic: Moral Monopoly

Political parties love to have the final word on political issues because they want to have not just the political moral superiority or majority, but political moral monopoly, part of politics is morality, or rather whosoever party's twists on said morality, whether to sway voters into the party's ballot box or to shame critics who may have reservations about other aspects of a political party's agenda, namely abortion, climate change, income inequality, gun control etc, the point is that politicians will say anything to get elected and to stay relevant, but also the political party interests are that they either gain power or to stay in power
