Visiting a gold district in the Utah desert

Visiting a gold district in the Utah desert Please note that we are very aware that we did not have all the safety equipment we would have liked with us. Hard hats are a must. So is climbing gear. The activities in this video are dangerous and great care must be taken to ensure safety. Additionally great care needs to be taken to respect the properties that someone else owns. There were no "no trespassing" signs near any of the sites we visited. Better would have been to know who owned each mine before visiting and then asking them if they would mind if we visited to try to understand the working of mines. Bart and I were educating ourselves on the history of Utah Gold prospecting.
