Hello friends! We are the Salas Family, an Indigenous traveling family with roots in Wisconsin, United States. After deciding we had too little time for family and travel while chasing the American Dream, we decided to rent out our house and take a lap around this big, beautiful Earth. This is our journey as a full-time traveling family with two small kids.
This vlog is from the Peruvian village Pisac and its nearby archaeological park (ruins), which are just outside of Cusco, Peru. Pisac is a beautiful day-trip from Cusco and a great alternative to Machu Picchu if you can't make the journey that far or have an extra day in Cusco after visiting it. While we did ours as a DIY tour with young kids, this trip is enjoyable for all ages and formal tours are plentiful from any of the towns in the Sacred Valley.
